Nasimoto is a brilliant mashup tape that pairs Nas vocals with Quasimoto beats. As fans are well aware, Lord Quas is one of Madlib’s many incarnations and most recently released 2013’s Yessir Whatever. However, it’s Quasimoto’s 2000 debut, the 24-track masterpiece The Unseen, that serves as DBegun’s sonic inspiration for this mixtape. Over the course of the 21-track affair, DBegun pulls Nas lyrics from Illmatic.
